British Marines Filmed Making Recruits Fight Naked
Britain's Ministry of Defense said Sunday it is investigating claims of violent bullying in the Royal Marines.
That statement comes after a newspaper obtained video footage that appears to show recruits being forced to fight each other in a naked initiation ceremony.
Video: Download 'british_recruits_fight_naked.wmv'The News of the World reported a soldier secretly filmed the fighting in May near Plymouth in southern England. Broadcast on several news channels Sunday, the blurred footage shows naked men fighting in a field. The newspaper reported one recruit was beaten unconscious.
